Bottles, Cans & Tabs
BOTTLES AND CANS – Jefferson school collects MA redemption code bottles and
cans for recycling. The money we receive
for this is used to fund special projects at Jefferson.
The classes are divided into teams and a friendly competition between teams
is scored by Mr. Chelman’s class who do the final counts. Collection day is usually the first Friday
of the month and we encourage people to rinse and count the
bottles and cans that are sent in. Tabs
from aluminum cans are also collected to send to the Shriners. I used to run that program with my third graders...so make me proud! Let's represent!
