100 Days Smarter!!!

We're celebrating the 100th day of school today!!!! Wow-the days have flown by! This morning, we rotated classrooms and had the chance to work with different teachers on cooperative groups of 100 activities! Then, we came back to our classroom for 100th day stations:Building a 100 cup tower, writing 100 words using   digraphs & glued sounds, a 100 name design picture, Race to 100 math game & creating equations that equal 100! We're having a blast & really showing off our smarts! 

Little Techies

Mr. Chelman's class came in today to help our first graders log onto Chromebooks for the very first time!!!! This was a very exciting opportunity for both the third graders, who served as teachers, and the first graders who were very excited learners! Each student has his/her own username (which is their lasid# or lunch card #, as well as a unique email address) and a password specific to our class. Over the next few weeks, we will practice how to log in so that we can start to use the Chromebooks routinely in math centers, WIN time and literacy groups. Our first graders are motivated to use sites like math magician & funbrain to help them learn basic skills! Ask your child about their experience today!!!!
