Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!! 2016 is off to a great start! After reading Squirrel's New Year's Resolution, we talked about what resolutions are and how we could help each other achieve them over the course of the next few months. As young as they are, they know themselves well and were able to identify areas to improve upon. School resolutions ranged from remembering to raise hands to writing neatly, using tools in math to keeping folders organized. Home goals included picking up toys, making beds & being nicer to a sibling! Personal goals included scoring a goal in basketball, reading 10 books a week and learning how to tie shoes. Please ask your child what he/she chose as goals and how they can work hard to achieve them! Next time you're in the classroom, check out our bulletin board that serves as a reminder for how we can help each other😊
